Description
List of solicited NSNs. The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) intends to procure 63 sole source General Electric Aviation Systems (GEAS) NSNs. It is anticipated that the NSNs will be added to the existing Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC), SPE4A2-12-14-D-0001. It is the Government's intent to issue a letter solicitation to the sole source Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), GEAS, therefore, if any non-OEM source is interested in offering any of the included NSNs, please notify the Contracting Officer prior to the synopsis close date. Surplus dealers are also invited to respond to this synopsis. Offers from surplus dealers must include a completed surplus certificate, DLAD 52.211-9000, Government Surplus Material or adequate traceability documentation to show that the product is acceptable. In addition, respondents should indicate the quantity and available price. The Government may alter the acquisition strategy if purchase of existing surplus or newly-manufactured inventory is in the best interest of the Government. While offers from dealers will be considered, this is a long term requirement and non-OEM sources must be able to satisfy the Government forecasted demand requirements. The Government may reject offers that cannot realistically meet the Government's forecasted demands. The items considered for addition to the contract are included in Federal Supply Groups 16, 30, 31, 53, 59, 61, 66. DLA does not currently possess technical data for any of these NSNs. Alternate offers must submit a complete technical data package for each NSN offered to be considered in the evaluation. Any items found to be competitive will be removed from the NSN population and procured separately. The conditions of SPE4A2-12-D-0001 apply and changes will only be made via contract modification. A list of the NSNs solicited has been provided in via Attachment (GEAS - Phase 1 - NSN Additions).
