- Description
- The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Service (PBS), has a requirement for Operation and Maintenance Services for Federal Office Buildings 10A and 10B, Washington, DC. The contract resulting from this solicitation will be for a period of one (1) year with four (4) subsequent one-year option periods. The applicable NAICS code is 561210, Facilities Support Services, and the small business size standard is $33.5 million. This procurement is being solicited as a competitive 8(a) set-aside. Services will include, but not limited to, the efficient, effective, economical, and satisfactory operation, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and repair of the following equipment and systems: · Electrical systems and equipment · Mechanical systems and equipment · Fire protection and life safety systems and equipment · Architectural and structural systems, fixtures, and equipment · Service request desk operations · Maintenance of landscape irrigation systems · Mechanical equipment for window washing · Locks, keycard systems, vehicle barrier systems, vehicle gate arm systems, and static and dynamic bollard systems · Dock levelers and roll-up and sliding garage doors · Elevator and vertical transportation systems · Storm drainage systems · Roofing system investigations and repairs · Maintain and repair U.S. flag pole, lighting and pulley system · Maintain kitchen/concessions area drains · Main tain c onveying equipment, parking control equipment, and l oading dock equipment Award will be made to the offeror whose proposal offers the best value to the government, price and technical factors considered. The technical evaluation factors include (in descending order of importance): 1. Past Performance; 2. Corporate Experience; and 3. Key Personnel. The non-price factors, when combined, are approximately equal to cost or price. The RFP will only be available electronically. It will be available on or about April 11, 2014.
