- Description: SPE7L314R0059, PR 00521580032, NSN 3040-01-402-2547, Shaft, Shouldered, Item is being bought in accordance with Pratt & Whitney Canada CIE (00198), part number 3017107 and Canadian Commercial Corporation (98247), part number 3017107. This is a Navy Critical Safety Item. The total quantity required is 40 each. This solicitation is an Unrestricted RFP and will be solicited per FAR part 15; DAG 5.207(d)(2)(iv). The solicitation will be available on the Internet at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp on or about 4/11/2014 ; This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract for only approved sources under the authority of 10USC2304(c)(1). The required delivery is 35 each in 180 days. Based on market research this item is manufactured for military use only and is not commercial; therefore, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12 in its solicitation for this item. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item with 15 days of this notice. Users not having access to the Internet may contact the DODSSP, Bldg. 4/D, 700 Robbins Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111-5094. Patterns, Drawings, Deviations Lists, Purchase Description, etc., are not stocked at the DODSSP. "NOTICE: This solicitation contains DLAD provision 52.215-9023 for Reverse Auction (RA). The Government reserves the right to activate this provision after timely offers have been received and evaluated."
