Description
This FBO posting is a DRAFT Request for Proposal (RFP) for Transport Medical Trainer Laboratory (TMTL) OVERVIEW To elevate medical capability and skills on the battlefield, the US Army Medical Department Center and School (AMEDD C&S) is developing a Transport Medical Trainer Laboratory (TMTL) as part of their Critical Care Flight Paramedic (CCFP) program's curriculum. The TMTL project will consist of providing the items needed to set up a student classroom, a small computer lab area, an instructor control room, a UH-60 Medical Evacuation (MEDEVAC) Helicopter cabin mock-up that includes the Integrated Modular Medical Support System (IMMSS), and a Forward Surgical Team training area. No building construction or remodeling is required by the contractor. NOTICE OF INTENT This effort will be solicited as a 100% small business-set-aside under NAICS Code 333318, with a size standard of 1,000 employees. The resultant TMTL contract will be a 2 year (Base year plus one option year) standalone C-Type contract. Per this decision, any firm desiring to participate as a prime contractor in this solicitation must be a recognized as Small Business Concern under NAICS Code 333318, in accordance with FAR 19.301. For those interested Small Businesses, please familiarize yourself, if you have not already, with the Limitations on Subcontracting requirements under FAR 52.219-14. QUESTIONS All questions, comments and concerns regarding the TMTL DRAFT RFP are to be addressed to the primary POC, Karen Sorapuru, with the Alternate POC, Dan Veenstra CC'd. Questions, comments and concerns are to be submitted no later than 4PM, April 8, 2014 on Attachment 5, TMTL Question_Coment Form. The Government will post a FBO follow response for all questions, comments and concerns submitted before this deadline. Any questions submitted thereafter may not be addressed by the Government. Please consolidate multiple questions, comments and concerns to one Microsoft word file with the RFP # included in the document title. MILESTONES The Government anticipates posting the FINAL RFP on April 15, 2014 for 30 days.
