Description
Synopsis The Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) is contemplating to procure the manufacture of the Line Items cited below for a FFP Competitive Contract for a total maximum quantity of 495 each of Tube Assembly, Metal to support the F100 engine. 1. Estimated issue date and estimated closing/response date issued 10 APRIL 2014 Closes 10 MAY 2014 2. PR# - FD2030-14-00338 3. Spare - New Manufacture 4. Item: Tube Assembly, Metal 5. NSN - 4710-01-077-0705NZ 6. PN - 4054426 7. Description: Tube Assembly, Metal for F100 engine. 8. Total Line Item Quantity : 3 year BEQ - 495 Ea. 9. Application (Engine or Aircraft) - F100 Engine 10. Destination : FOB Origin: Ship to Code: SW3211; DLA Distribution Depot of Oklahoma; Central Receiving 3301 F Avenue; Building 506 Door 22; Tinker AFB, OK 73145-8000 11. Delivery : Delivery of 8 UNITS ON OR BEFORE 30 JULY 2014 and continue at a rate of 8 ea. per month thereafter. Early Delivery is Acceptable. 12. AMC Code : 1/C This requirement is for the manufacture of Tube Assembly, Metal for F100 engine. First Article will be required. Sources must be qualified prior to award. To be eligible for contract award, the offeror must be an approved source IAW FAR 52.209-1, Qualification Requirements. The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARS). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. This item is export controlled. This requirement has been determined to be a small business set aside. Current approved Small Businesses: Aero Tube Technologies E.A. Patten Co. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. IAW FAR 5.207 (c) (15) (ii), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from Offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
