- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE Infant Mobile Viewing System The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is conducting a Market Survey to identify interested parties capable of providing a password-protected webcam based system for viewing infants to be used at the Naval Medical Center, San Diego. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and NO CONTRACT will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. The information gathered from this sources sought notice will be utilized in the Government's determination of requirements business type utilized in a possible future solicitation. BACKGROUND Naval Medical Center San Diego Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is looking for a password-protected easy-to-use webcam based system for viewing infants hospitalized in the NICU. The webcam based system would allow family and friends to stay connected from anywhere in the world and also allow parents peace of mind and reassurance when they cannot be at their baby's bedside. Additionally, the view of the infant can be shared with family and friends too young or unable to come into the NICU. Statement of Need Require an easy to use, secure (password protected and HIPAA compliant) and reliable webcam system that would allow parents to view their infant remotely from a mobile device and/or computer. Additionally, we would require training and support for the end users (ie support team/number). EXPRESSION OF INTEREST/CAPABILITY STATEMENT Companies which possess the webcam system required for strengthening parental bonding and bringing families together and who may be interested in responding to future solicitations in this area should provide a written statement of interest, which includes the following: Required Criteria: 1. Company Name, address, telephone number, CAGE CODE, and website 2. The name, telephone number, email address of a point of contact 3. A description of corporate expertise and facilities relevant to the capabilities necessary for the successful implementation of the proposed solution. 4. Examples of demonstrated experience at a healthcare installation within the last 2 years. 5.
