Description

The Government has a requirement for administrative investigations for Workers' Compensation (WC) cases where the extent of medical impairment in question. An Administrative Investigation (AI) uses surveillance techniques to gather facts and information related to the physical activities of a WC claimant as related to the claimed medical impairment, without the claimant becoming aware of the surveillance. Contractor support must be available to all VA field facilities that are located in the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. Any open WC case in a field facility is eligible for assignment to the Contractor for an administrative investigation. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This Sources Sought does not constitute a request for quotes or proposals. Submission of any information in response to this Sources Sought is purely voluntary. The Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. The responses to this Sources Sought will contribute to determining the method of procurement and identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement. Responses to this Sources Sought are requested from large and small businesses. If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services, please respond to this Sources Sought as follows- Cover Sheet - 1 page Please provide the following information: 1. Organization name, address, DUNS number, and web site. 2. Point of contact to include e-mail address and telephone number. 3. Business size (large, small, SDVOSB, VOSB, etc.) under NAICS code 561611. 4. If applicable, GSA contract number, schedule, and SIN category. Capabilities Statement and Market Information - no more than 3 pages Please respond to the following questions by providing a capabilities statement and market information: 1. The Government requires the services described below nation-wide for VA field facilities that are located in the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii, and Puerto Rico while minimizing travel costs to the maximum extent possible. Please describe your capability for performing these services and how travel would be addressed. Please specify if your company can satisfy this effort alone or through a teaming arrangement/partnership. 2. Please list and describe the labor categories anticipated to perform this type of effort. 3. Please provide a brief description of your company's experience in performing similar efforts.
