Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Acquisition Operations, Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown NJ intends to enter into a contract on a basis of other than full and open competition for the Office of Information Technology (OIT). The TAC intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price (FFP) contract to eGain Corporation, 1252 Borregas Ave, Sunnyvale, CA 94089 for a source code enhancement. This action consists of the enhancements of the eGain Software Version 11 to provide a solution for the Frequently Asked Question (FAQ) Widget which will populate to each Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) line of business internet site in real-time. The Statutory Authority for this effort falls under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 6.302-1 entitled, "Only Once Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will satisfy Agency Requirements." The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 511210 and size standard is $35.5M. The estimated date of award for this action is April 10, 2014.
