Description

The US Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, intends to procure this requirement on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Service Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The US Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, intends to enter into a firm, fixed-price contract with Walter Payton Power Equipment LLC Riverdale IL. The NAICS code for this procurement is 334419 with a size standard not to exceed 500. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and no solicitation will be issued; however, any small-business firm that believes it can meet the requirement may give written notification to the Contracting Officer. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement listed no later than 12:00 pm CT on 3 April 2014. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Questions should be directed to Ann McCrery 309-794-5613. Provide one (1) new direct replacement swing motor cylinder for a Manitowoc 4600 Platform SN:10271, Manitowoc Part Number-3852740, two (2) new charge pumps Manitowoc Part Number 951066-5-RK, two (2) new control valve kits Manitowoc Part Number 9510505-0038, and four (4) new check valves Manitowoc Part Number 9802028. All parts must be covered by a 1 year full replacement warranty starting from the date of delivery.
