- Description
- NOTE: The Tactical Operational Flight Trainer (TOFT) requirement was previously synopsized through a Sources Sought on 11 September 2013 under solicitation number N68936-13-R-0075 which has now changed to N68936-14-R-0102. The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division (NAWCWD), China Lake, CA is soliciting on a sole source basis to Strike Force Consulting a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business in accordance with FAR 19.1406 and FAR 6.302-5(b)(6) for support to the F-18 Training Technical Program Office and the The Tactical Operational Flight Trainer (TOFT) requirements at China Lake, CA. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract with a period of performance of one base year plus four one year options. Performance Work Statement (PWS) covers support for Test Planning, Test, Training, Project Planning, active duty squadron interface (VX-9, VX-31, VFA-122,), Advanced Weapons Lab (AWL) interface, and interface/feedback to PMA205(Naval Aviation Training Systems Program Office) and Program Management at Naval Aviation Warfare Center, Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) Orlando for TOFT125/SimuStrike02. Tasking will include: development and writing of Test Plans and Procedures, Test including operation and flying of TOFT125/SimuStrike02, Training and Project Planning, in accordance with established NAVAIR policies and procedures. Some travel will be required. Required skills/experience include: F/A-18 flight experience with developmental test and operational test, test plan writing/reporting, secret clearance, familiarity with US Navy TOFTs, experience with NAVAIR test planning and execution procedures. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The Anticipated award date is 05/27/2014.
