Description
The Department of Veteran Affairs, Atlanta VA Medical Center, 1670 Clairmont Road, Decatur, GA 30033, has an upcoming requirement Image Analysis Software for TG-142 QA. The Government expects to award to a single contractor a Firm Fixed Priced, one year base with four (4) additional one year options contract and will be advertised in fedbizopps as a Total Small Business set-a-side. NAICS code for this requisition is 334519 with a small business size of 500 employees. The solicitation will be posted on March 31, 2014. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments. Only offers from those firms regularly established in the business of providing this software and equipment will be considered. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered. Any and all questions regarding this solicitation, after its posted, must be in writing via email and must include telephone number, fax number and point of contact to Attn: Joseph Leyte, Contract Specialist at Joseph.Leyte@va.gov. Summary: The Radiation Oncology Department at the Atlanta VA Medical Center is seeking to procure a comprehensive Image Analysis QA application fully compatible with the Sun Nuclear MapCheck system which is currently in use at the Medical Center. Required Deliverables: A comprehensive Image Analysis System (Package) that includes a QA Phantom Kit and Software Licenses. The Image Analysis QA Phantom Kit package shall provide a dedicated and comprehensive image analysis software and hardware for on board imaging (OBI) with Varian linear accelerators. It shall be compatible in all forms and fit to work as an add-on application to the Sun Nuclear MapCheck system which is currently in use for other linear accelerator QA. The QA Phantom kit shall include two devices: One for testing requirements according to AAPM TG142 for MV imaging of linear accelerators and the other for testing requirements according to AAPM TG142 for kV imaging of linear accelerators. There are two accelerators thus requiring two software licenses.
