Interested sources shall respond with its capabilities' package of no more than 5 pages (excluding the cover page) containing the following based upon the Government requirements: 1. Sufficient information with supporting links to published or other documentation to describe its capability to identify the materials that have been scaled in minimum to 100 gram quantities per batch, along with the current capacity (batch size in grams, turnaround time) and physical characteristics (BET surface area, pore volume) of materials. Specific materials of interest include, but are not limited to: (a) CuBTC (aka HKUST-1, Cu3BTC2, MOF-199), (b) UiO-66 and analogs (UiO-66-NH2, UiO-67, etc.), (c) M/DOBDC (aka MOF-74, CPO-27), where M = various metals, (d) MIL-series of MOFs, such as MIL-100, MIL-101, and MIL-53, (e) ZIFs, (f) Other MOFs and MOF composites as appropriate, (g) Porous Organic Polymers 2. Sufficient information with supporting links to published or other documentation to describe its capability to identify the method(s) used for synthesizing and activating MOFs: (a) Solvent recycle, (b) Organic solvent-free, (c) Batch vs. continuous flow reactors, (d) Activation procedures 3. Sufficient information with supporting links to published or other documentation to describe its capability to engineer MOFs, especially those from Requirement #1, but also in general, into suitable forms for packed bed filtration applications. The response shall identify as a minimum the mesh size of granules they are capable of manufacturing: (a) Use of binders, (b) Use of pressurization, (c) Etc. 4. Sufficient information with supporting links to published or other documentation to describe its capability to scale beyond 1 kg of material using current equipment and procedures. Provide the current list of equipment and procedures. The Government will analyze this information solely for the purpose of determining the existence of sources capable of meeting the Government's needs. No results will be published. Interested sources shall also include a separate cover page that contains the following information as a minimum: Company name and address information; a contact person and their information; business size for the NAICS identified; Cage Code; Cost Accounting Disclosure Statement to include date of last audit, audit agency name and contact information; and if applicable any active GSA contracts under which the requirements identified above would be in scope.
