- Description
- Attachment #5 to RFI, Sample Current Technical Proposal and Oral Presentations Instructions Attachment #4 to RFI, Sample Current Proposal Assumption Template Attachment #3 to RFI, Sample Current DME MAC Statement of Work (SOW) Attachment #2 to RFI, Sample Current A/B MAC Statement of Work (SOW) Attachment #1 to RFI, Sample Current Basis of Estimate (BOE) REQUEST FOR INFORMATION REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.205(c) and 15.201, this RFI seeks information from potential Offerors applicable to CMS' upcoming Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC) solicitations: A/B Jurisdiction M (formerly Jurisdiction 11), DME Jurisdiction B, A/B Jurisdiction 15, DME Jurisdiction D, and DME Jurisdiction A. CMS anticipates an additional three MAC RFPs in 2015. In order to more effectively and efficiently evaluate Offeror's technical and business proposals submitted in response to MAC solicitations, CMS is considering changes to its Business and Technical Proposal solicitation instructions. CMS' goal of these changes is to gain a better understanding of the Offeror's historical technical approach to the work requirements, cost and level of effort (skill, mix, number of hours and productivity) information as compared to the Offeror's proposed technical approach to the work requirements, proposed cost and level of effort (skill mix, number of hours and productivity) information. This RFI encourages potential Offerors to comment and provide information on CMS' current proposal instructions (sample current instructions are provided as an attachment to the RFI) with emphasis on and considering CMS' goal. Potential Offerors are directed to the attached RFI for additional information, point of contact email address for responses and specific questions.
