Industry Day Announcement for Program Executive Office (PEO) SOLDIER - SETA RECOMPETE Solicitation Number: W91CRB-14-R-0005 Agency: Department of the Army Office: Program Executive Office - Soldier (PEO Soldier) Location: Fort Belvoir, VA, Date / Time: 3 April 2014 / 0900 to 1700 hours Eastern Standard Time (EST) Updates to this Notice: As of 4/01/14 1.) Revise Agenda to correct the activity occurring between 1455 and 1515. As of 3/27/14 1.) Scheduling for One-on-One Sessions is at capacity; companies can register for the event but not for a One-on-One Session. While we are no longer scheduling the sessions, please still submit your One-on-One questions as indicated below at #4. 2.)The Draft RFP has been updated to correct the readability of the Education / Experience Table. View the updated attachment under the Additional Documents link below. 3.) Due to an overwhelming response to this Industry Day notice, companies scheduled for One-on-One Sessions are now limited to 15 minutes. Please ensure your company representatives are available 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. All scheduled times are subject to change. 4.)To promote time efficiency on Industry Day, please submit the questions your company has for the One-on-One Sessions to Karen Gibson at karen.gibson2.civ@mail.mil not later than close of business on 1 APR 2014. 5.)The agenda below has been revised to reflect 15 minutes for One-on-One Sessions. One-on-One Sessions are planned to run simultaneously, three at a time. In order to accomodate the maximum number of participants, companies, who plan on partnering or teaming for the effort, should schedule a single One-on-One Session. Synopsis: Program Executive Office - Soldier (PEO Soldier) Industry Day will provide an update on PEO Soldier planning for the recompete of the PEO Soldier Systems Engineering & Technical Assistance (SETA), Logistics, and Fielding Services requirement. The event will include familiarization briefings for industry awareness of the PEO Soldier organization and mission. After the Government presentations, a question and answer period will provide an open forum for discussion of the PEO Soldier SETA requirement. Industry will also have an opportunity for One-On-One Sessions to discuss the requirements with PEO Soldier.Interested parties should review Draft RFP W91CRB-14-R-0005 in preparation for this event. This is a combined, follow-on procurement for both SETA and logistics and fielding services to support PEO Soldier Headquarters (HQ) and its subordinate project management offices: Project Manager Soldier Sensors and Lasers (PM SSL), Project Manager Soldier Protection and Individual Equipment (PM SPIE), Project Manager Soldier Warrior (PM SWAR), and Project Manager Soldier Weapons (PM SW). The HQs and PM SSL, SPIE, and SWAR are all located at Ft. Belvoir, VA. PM SW is located at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ. The support required under this effort includes engineering, quality assurance and test support; acquisitions support, business management support, logistics and fielding support, operations support, and administrative support. The support areas include but are not limited to tasks for program management, planning, studies and capabilities development, liaison and operations support; strategic communications, engineering and logistics support, new equipment training, system test and product fielding support, acquisition and contracting support, software development and support and system safety, studies and analysis and quick response support. The vendor shall provide support for all phases of system life cycle management to PEO Soldier products, including program/project management support, in response to the deployment and support of PEO Soldier assets mobilized for military efforts worldwide. During this time, interested parties will have the opportunity to meet with Government representatives for no more than 15 minutes. It should be noted that the Government will not release written responses to industry questions following this event. Contractors are encouraged to ask questions during the Industry Day Open Question and Answer Session or One-on-One Sessions. Additional comments and questions, which the Government may take into consideration, may be submitted in writing following the event. The Government will review all submitted questions and incorporate any required changes into the documentation as needed. Attendees must be U.S. citizens. We recommend all non-U.S. companies utilize U.S. citizen representatives. Each company participating in Industry Day is limited to a maximum of three (3) attendees. Instructions to Industry: Contractors interested in attending the PEO Soldier Industry Day shall submit an e-mail with subject line: Attend PEO Soldier Industry Day 3 April 2014 to the PEO Soldier Administrative Point of Contact (POC), Mr. Karl Masters, e-mail: karl.a.masters.civ@mail.mil, no later than 1600 hrs EST on 27 March 2014. PEO Soldier may not be able to accommodate reservations that are received after this time. Reservations are available on a first-come, first-served basis, or until capacity has been met. Each registration e-mail shall provide: -Company name, CAGE code, business unit, and address; -Business type: Large Business, Small Business, or other socioeconomic type business; -Primary point of contact phone number and email address; -Level of Interest: Prime Contractor or Subcontractor -List of Attendees - provide full legal name and confirm U.S. citizenship for each attendee Via e-mail, the Government will provide confirmation of registration for the Industry Day event, confirmation for registration of One-on-One Session (if requested) and driving directions with a map. Please note, telephone inquiries will not be accepted. Industry participants will receive a separate follow-on e-mail with the time and location for their One-on One Session not later than close of business on 31 March 2014. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.215-3 Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes, the Government will not pay for any costs incurred as a result of this Special Notice; to include costs associated with attending the PEO Soldier Industry Day. Access to Fort Belvoir for non-CAC holders: All visitors must enter at Fort Belvoir's Tulley Gate and present a Driver's License or other permanent ID. Industry Day participants are reminded that it may take up to one hour to get through Fort Belvoir Installation Security at Tulley Gate.
