Description
The purpose of this notice is to comply with the synopses and pre-solicitation notice requirements of FAR 5.2 - Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. The United States Government, represented by U.S. Agency for International Development, intends to issue a solicitation for Towards Enduring Peace in Sudan Program (TEPS), to be implemented in Sudan. The purpose of this program is to provide USAID/Sudan with a quick response mechanism to support the Administration’s effort to seek creative and flexible programs to address needs in Sudan. Toward Enduring Peace in Sudan (TEPS) will complement and enhance the rest of the USAID/Sudan portfolio by supporting the Government and people of Sudan through small grants and collaborative activities that: demonstrate tangible evidence of peace dividends in conflict-prone communities; engage marginalized populations and/or communities in marginalized areas in peacebuilding activities; and promote national dialogue and civic participation in a national constitutional review or other reform-oriented processes. USAID intends to issue an RFP on or about 15 days from the posting of this notice. Please do not consider this announcement as an RFP, and do not submit your proposals until a formal RFP is posted. Potential Offerors should frequently check the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps at www.fbo.gov) website for the forthcoming solicitation and other information. This notice does not obligate USAID to award a contract, nor does it commit the U.S. Government to pay any cost incurred in the preparation and submission of proposals. In accordance with FAR Part 5.102(d) availability of the solicitation is limited to this electronic medium only. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. We will not directly respond to inquiries regarding this synopsis but may consider them in preparation of the RFP. Comments or questions may be submitted via email to: cafrica@usaid.gov.
