- 1.The Department of Veteran Affairs, Eugene Vet Center intends to solicit proposals for a contractor whom will provide Readjustment Counseling Services to perform work at the following locations: Coos Bay and North Bend, Oregon Area. The term "readjustment counseling" means: Individual, group, and family counseling, employment counseling, benefits counseling, and referral services for eligible veterans who have psychosocial problems as part of readjustment to civilian life after military duty during specified conflicts. The counseling may include traditional psychotherapeutic modalities, but the purpose of psychotherapy (or any modality) must be, as a primary task, to address readjustment difficulties derived from military duties and the homecoming experience. 2. The solicitation will result in the award of a single contract. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed-price contract. The applicable NAICS code is 624190 - Other Individual and Family Services and the small business size standard is $10.0 Million. This procurement is set-aside for small businesses. 3.The intended contract period is a base year plus four (4) one-year option years. 4.Telephonic requests for the solicitation will not be honored. When issued, the solicitation will be available via the FedBizOpps website, http://www.fbo.gov/. The tentative solicitation issue date is 4/16/2014, and the anticipated closing date is 4/29/2014. Interested offerors are advised to consult the actual solicitation for final dates and times. 5.Offers from all capable and responsible sources will be considered. Firms offering a response to this notice should ensure that their registration in the Systems for Award Management (SAM) database http://www.sam.gov/ is current and should ensure that the applicable NAICS code (624190) is included in the SAM profile prior to submission of quotations.
