- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY and a SOLICITATION IS NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. This notice is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or an obligation on the part of the Government. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary. The government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred associated to this request for capability information. <input name="dnf_class_values[procurement_notice][description][0][added_on]" type="hidden" value="2009-02-11 17:31:53" /> USDA, ARS, EBSC is seeking a contractor to provide Facility Operations and Maintenance services at the National Center for Agriculural Utilization Research (NCAUR) in Peoria, Illinois. The Eastern Business Service Center (EBSC) <input name="dnf_class_values[procurement_notice][friendly_link]" type="hidden" value="https://www.fbo.gov/spg/USDA/ARS/PPBDC/AG-3K06-S-09-0005/listing.html" /> <input name="dnf_class_values[procurement_notice][friendly_link_packages]" type="hidden" value="https://www.fbo.gov/spg/USDA/ARS/PPBDC/AG-3K06-S-09-0005/packages.html" /> is issuing this sources sought request as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to provide management, supervision, labor, materials, equipment, and supplies necessary to provide Operations & Maintenance (O&M) support services at NCAUR. This sources sought is for qualified small Business firms ONLY. The result of this market research will contribute to determining whether there are adequate sources available from which to receive competitive proposals for this set aside. NO LARGE businesses need to respond to this notice. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code to be assigned to this procurement is 561210. Submission Instructions: Interested Small Business parties, who consider themselves qualified to perform the listed services are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by 4:00 PM (CDT) May 2, 2014. If your organization has appropriate qualifications and capacity to perform these contract services, please provide the following information: (1) A complete and current record of your Systems for Award Management (SAMS) information which includes DUNS number, Organization name, address, contact name, email address, Web site address, telephone number, type of organization, small business type (if any), etc; (2) A capability statement supporting claims of organizational and staffs capability to perform a) facility maintenance (including at a minimum services for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry), custodial services, lawn maintenance, security, etc. b) ability to provide environmentally-responsible solutions and products c) supervisor/manager roles and responsibilities d) a list of related services contracts and associated federal customers with a minimum value of over $1,000,000 per year to include the size of facilities (i.e., aggregate square feet) emphasizing characteristics similar to laboratory environments. e) if significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver technical capability, organizations should address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements. EBSC requests that potential sources only submit the minimum information necessary and no more than ten (10) pages. The SAM record does not count toward the 10 page maximum.
