- This notice is an unrestricted acquisition for an Indefinite Delivery Purchase Order (IDPO) Contract for ground tire NSN 2610-01-451-0214, in accordance CAGE Code (71496) and part number 574365. The contracting activity is DLA Land and Maritime. The term of the contract resulting from this solicitation will be the award effective date until Oct 13, 2014, or when the maximum value of $150,000 is met. Current estimated annual demand quantities, FOB and Inspection and Acceptance information will be listed in the RFQ. Unit of issue is each. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Note the following: The Government does not possess technical data for this NSN. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreement Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. dollars. ADQ is 31 and ADF is 7. Required delivery is 12 days. TIRE,PNEUMATIC,VEHICLE CLASS I OZONE DEPLETING CHEMICALS ARE NOT TO BE USED NOR INCORPORATED IN ANY ITEMS TO BE DELIVERED UNDER THIS CONTRACT.THIS PROHIBITION SUPERSEDES ALL SPECIFICATION REQUIREMENTS BUT DOES NOT ALLEVIATE ANY PRODUCT REQUIREMENTS. SUBSTITUTE CHEMICALS MUST BE SUBMITTED FOR APPROVAL UNLESS THEY ARE AUTHORIZED BY THE SPECIFICATION REQUIREMENTS. ** EXCEPTION: This shelf life item is Non-Extendable, Code S, with a total shelf life of sixty months. Material furnished under this contract/order shall have at least 42 months of shelf life remaining at time of delivery. ** TIRE CHARACTERISTICS MANUFACTURER'S CAGE CODE & PART NUMBER: CARLISLE TIRE AND RUBBER CO (71496) P/N 574365 TIRE SIZE: 18X8.50-8 TIRE CONSTRUCTION: BIAS TIRE STRENGTH: 8 PLY TIRE MAX INFLATION PRESSURE: 44 PSI TIRE MAX LOAD: 1220 LBS TIRE AIR RETENTION METHOD: TUBELESS TYPE FLAP: NO SERVICE TYPE: INDUSTRIAL TOW TRACTOR TREAD DESIGN: INDUSTRIAL TURF VEHICLE APPLICATION: AIRCRAFT TOW BAR TIRE AGE: THE AGE OF THE TIRES WHEN SHIPPED MUST NOT BE OLDER THAN 18 MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF MANUFACTURE OR RETREAD. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
