- Description
- The 90th Contracting Squadron, F.E. Warren AFB, WY intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for acquisition of a Contractor Operated Civil Engineer Supply Store (COCESS) at F. E. Warren AFB, WY. This acquisition will fall under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 332510. The proposed solicitation will be competed unrestricted with NO SET-ASIDE for small business concerns. The scope of work includes: The contractor shall provide a simplified method for civil engineer personnel to acquire materials and equipment used in the electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation/air conditioning/refrigeration (HVACR), sheet metal, welding, pipe fitting, carpentry, landscaping, pavement, masonry, electronic monitoring, controls and alarms, painting and wall covering, material handling and rigging, hardware, liquid fuels maintenance, power production, water and waste water distribution, and pest control trades. These items shall be used by craftsmen for work orders, construction, and recurring maintenance and repair work. The store shall provide easy access to customers and provide timely purchase of a wide variety of commercial and industrial products (items found in commercial stores such as Lowe's, Home Depot or local lumber and hardware stores). Performance will commence on or about 01 Sept 2014.The contract will include a base period from 01 Sept 14-31 Aug 15 with an anticipated two (2) subsequent pre-priced 12 month option periods. The government anticipates soliciting for the award of a Firm Fixed Price Requirements Supply Contract. The government anticipates the issuance of the RFP on or about 21 April, 2014 with an award date no later than 1 Sept, 2014. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation package. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Register via the CCR website at http://www.sam.gov. Contractors must also submit their Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) website at https://sam.gov. The RFP will be released using the Electronic Posting System (EPS) available at http://www.fbo.gov. All solicitation information may be obtained through the above referenced website. The Government will not reimburse any interested parties for monies spent to provide a response to the subsequent solicitation notice.
