- Proposed solicitation, SPE7M214R0004, is for NSN 4130-01-348-1557. Item is a Cooling Coil, Air, Duct Type. FIRST ARTICLE TEST IS REQUIRED IAW MIL-PRF-2939G PARAGRAPH 3.1. - TEST REPORTS SHALL CONTAIN THE INFORMATION IDENTIFIED IN MIL-PRF-2939G APPENDIX D, PARAGRAPH D.3.1. Item is to be manufactured I/A/W MIL-PRF-2939G PARAGRAPH 6.4; THE CONTRACTOR SHALL SUBMIT COPIES OF THEIR COOLING COIL ASSEMBLY DRAWINGS FOR APPROVAL BY THE ACQUISITION ACTIVITY. PLEASE REFER TO MIL-PRF-2939G APPENDIX B FOR RECOMMENDATIONS CONCERNING ENGINEERING DRAWINGS TECHNICAL CONTENT REQUIREMENTS. PRODUCTION AND FIRST ARTICLE TESTING SHALL NOT COMMENCE UNTIL THE CONTRACTOR RECEIVES APPROVAL OF THEIR DRAWINGS FROM THE ACQUISITION ACTIVITY. THE DRAWINGS CAN BE ELECTRONIC FORMAT, AND SHALL BE SUBMITTED WITHIN 10 DAYS AFTER AWARD TO THE CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR IDENTIFIED IN BLOCK 6 OF THE PURCHASE ORDER. The solicitation will be unrestricted; will require FOB origin and inspection at origin. Proposed solicitation is for a total quantity of 35 each to be shipped to New Cumberland PA 17070-5002 and will require FOB origin and inspection and acceptance at origin. Required delivery is 180 days. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered. Based on market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. Dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. This solicitation will be made available on its issue date which is estimated to be on or about 4-30-14, at HTTPS://WWW.DIBBS.BSM.DLA.MIL/ PLEASE NOTE: THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL THE ISSUE DATE. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. A written offer is required and is to be returned to the bid room at Defense Supply Center Columbus, PO Box 3990, Columbus, OH 43218- 3990, or can be faxed to 614-692-4275.
