- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) intends to competitively procure a Cost Plus Fixed Fee Level of Effort (CPFF LOE) award for performance of Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E); operations and maintenance for multiple programs under the cognizance of NAWCWD Combat Survivability Division (CSD) executed under Weapons Survivability Laboratory (WSL) efforts as a 100 percent set-aside for small businesses with a size standard of $35.5M. The types of activities the contractor shall perform include but are not limited to Live Fire Testing & Evaluation (LFTE), safe separation testing of free fall and other weapons, aerodynamic testing of aircraft, weapons, recovery and crew systems, and evaluation of fielded and developmental systems. This effort requires test planning, design and documentation, fabrication, test article preparation, instrumentation for data acquisition, test execution, WSL maintenance and project and program reporting. The contract is anticipated to be 499,290 hours over a three year base period of performance with a two year option period. The request for proposal (RFP) will be issued on or about 16 MAY 2014 and will be available through Fedbizopps (https://www.fbo.gov). The RFP will close 45 days after the date of issuance. Award is anticipated to be on approximately October 2014. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. See numbered note 1.
