Description

This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and the solicitation will be available at the Federal Business Opportunities website. The solicitation number is CT2163-14 and this solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-72. The North American Industry Classification System code is 314999 - All other miscellaneous textile product mills, the SBA small business size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is set-aside 100% for small business. UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, Inc. intends to enter into a one (1) year with 4 options, firm-fixed-price Requirements type contract for the following commercial item: Cotton batting (felt) pads for use in the manufacture of bedding mattresses. The finished goods are for sale to the GSA and other federal agencies. PLEASE SEE ALL SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS FOR FULL DETAILS. THIS SOLICITATION IS SET-ASIDE 100% FOR SMALL BUSINESS.
