- Synopsis: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has a requirement to deliver, install and commission one type RJ, IEEE, Bulk replacement bushing shall be ABB style# 025B1000DS, or approved equal, and shall be a direct like-in-kind replacement for the existing Westinghouse Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) bushing that is no longer available. Summary of Work: The successful bidder shall be required to deliver, install and commission one type RJ, IEEE, Bulk replacement bushing shall be ABB style# 025B1000DS, or approved equal. This item shall be delivered to Lower Granite Lock and Dam. Summary of Supply: 1.0NEW SPARE 25KV TRANSFORMER LOW VOLTAGE BUSHING FOR T1. The type RJ, IEEE, Bulk replacement bushing shall be ABB style# 025B1000DS, or approved equal, and shall be a direct like-in-kind replacement for the existing Westinghouse Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) bushing that is no longer available. Salient characteristics for this bushing to interface and operate within the T1 transformer banks will be provided with the RFQ. 2.0NEW 25KV TRANSFORMER LOW VOLTAGE BUSHING FOR T2. The type RJ, IEEE, Bulk replacement bushing shall be ABB style # 025B0750EC, or approved equal, and shall be a direct like-in-kind replacement for the existing Westinghouse Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) bushing that is no longer available. Salient characteristics for this bushing to interface and operate within the T2 transformer banks will be provided with the RFQ. 3.0NEW 25KV TRANSFORMER NEUTRAL BUSHING FOR T1 AND T2. The ASA standard IC condenser type quote mark S quote mark and quote mark OS quote mark replacement bushing shall be ABB style # 025W0412AT, or approved equal, and shall be a direct like-in-kind replacement for the existing Westinghouse Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) bushing that is no longer available. Salient characteristics for this bushing to interface and operate within the T1, T2 transformer banks will be provided with the RFQ. Description of Requirement: This synopsis is not an RFQ or Request for Proposals (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not a commitment by the Government. Planned Announcement: RFQ number W912EF-14-Q-0105 will be issued on or about 09 April 2014, but may be issued prior to or after 09 April 2014. Closing response date: approximately 14 days from the date the solicitation is issued.
