- Description
- DRAFT LIST OF OCONUS LOCATIONS HAS BEEN ADDED TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. *** If you are viewing this announcement on any other site, except the FAA Contracting Opportunites website, please go to https://faaco.faa.gov to view it in its entirety with attachments. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has an upcoming requirement for the supply of new, and maintenance of new and existing printers, copiers and scanners, as well as the supply of toner and ink cartridges. This requirement may support the entire FAA and Department of Transportation (DOT). The areas of service coverage are both CONUS and OCONUS. Attachment I entitled, śRequirements ť is included for informational purposes only to outline the broad scope of the envisioned work. Also included with this survey is Attachment II, śHardware List, ť which is a draft assessment of the current assets the FAA maintains. This list is in draft form, and does not include all of the assets the FAA maintains, nor any of DOT ™s assets. This market survey is not a Screening Information Request (SIR) or a Request for Proposal (RFP). The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. At this time, the nature of the competition has not been determined. The FAA may decide to do a full and open competition or set aside all or part of the procurement for small business concerns. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of capabilities from interested parties. This market survey is also being conducted in order to obtain the information necessary to determine whether adequate competition exists to set-aside the requirement among small business concerns. The principle North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code anticipated for this effort is 333244, Printing Machinery and Equipment Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. A secondary NAICS code that may be considered for this effort is 334118, Computer Terminal or Other Peripheral Equipment Manufacturing, with a small business size of 1,000 employees. A wholesale trade or retail trade business submitting a capability statement on a supply acquisition is categorized as a non-manufacturer and deemed small if it has 500 or fewer employees and meets the requirements of 13 CFR 121.406. In order to make this determination, the FAA requires the following information from interested vendors: PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO PAGE LIMITATION, HOWEVER SUBMISSIONS SHOULD PROVIDE RELEVANT CONCISE INFORMATION ONLY. Capability Statement “ This document should identify: 1. Your company ™s capability to provide supplies and services to the agency as described by Attachment I, śRequirements, ť including geographical areas where your company can provide services. 2. Any relevant current or previous experience that includes not more than three contacts for the same or similar services completed within the last five years or still ongoing. Additional Submissions “ 1. Completed Business Declaration Form, and any SBA certification letters (if applicable) 2. Comments concerning the Market Survey are welcome and optional. The FAA will consider all comments received. All submissions in response to this market survey must be received by 12:00 pm EST on April 17, 2014. Send response via email to kimberly.proko@faa.gov. Phone calls regarding this survey will not be entertained.
