- This is a modification to the synopsis entitled Medical and Environmental Service Contract Follow On which was posted on March 20, 2014. You are notified that the following changes are made: NAICS Code 561210 has been changed to NAICS Code 541620. NASA, John F. Kennedy Space Center (KSC) is seeking capabilities from Small, 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran, and Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) businesses for the purposes of making any potential small business set-aside determination. This requirements NAICS code is 541620 - Environmental Consulting Services. KSC is also seeking capabilities from Small, Small Disadvantaged, 8(a), Woman-owned, Veteran, Service Disabled Veteran, HUBZone, Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) and Minority Institutions (MI) businesses for the purposes of determining small business subcontracting goals for this requirement if it is not set-aside. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If a solicitation is released it will be synopsized in FedBizOpps and on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service. It is the potential offerors responsibility to monitor these sites for the release of any solicitation or synopsis. Interested offerors/vendors having the required specialized capabilities to meet the above requirement should submit a capability statement of 20 pages or less including attachments, minimum font size 12, including your ability to successfully manage an effort of the complexity characterized above via e-mail to the primary Point of Contact (POC) for this requirement. To facilitate a prompt review by the NASA team, a one (1) page summary shall be included with your capability statement(s), which identifies your companys specific capabilities that are relevant to the requirement. Responses must include the following: name and address of firm, size of business; average annual revenue for past 3 years and number of employees; ownership; whether they are large, or any category of small business*, number of years in business; affiliate information: parent company, joint venture partners, potential teaming partners, prime contractor (if potential sub) or subcontractors (if potential prime); list of customers covering the past five years (highlight relevant work performed, contract numbers, contract type, dollar value of each procurement; and point of contact - address and phone number). The due date for responses is extended to May 4, 2014. Please advise if the requirement is considered to be a commercial or commercial-type product. A commercial item is defined in FAR 2.101. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. Respondents deemed fully qualified will be considered in any resultant solicitation for the requirement. Documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
