- DLA MARITIME PUGET SOUND intends to procure Shore Power Cable Assemblies (brand name or equal to Cooper Industries parts) as follows: 7 each, 220FT Enhanced THOF-500 Cable, MIL-C-915 with female straight (M24368/5-001) outboard connector molded on one end and pier side (M24368/1-002) connector potted on the other; 1 each, 75 FT Enhanced THOF-500 cable MIL-C-915 with female straight (M24368/5-001) outboard connector molded on one end and pier side (M24368/1-002) connector potted on the other; and, 2 each, 300 FT Enhanced THOF-500 cable MIL-C-915 with a female 90 degrees (M24368/5-003) outboard connector molded on one end and pier side (M24368/1-002) connector potted on the other, in support of the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF) at Bremerton, WA. The solicitation will be issued as a commercial RFQ in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13.5. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The non-manufacture waiver rule applies to this procurement. Small business concerns may offer domestic end products manufactured by other than small business manufacturers. The applicable NAICS Code is 335931. The resultant award will be a firm fixed-price supply type contract for delivery to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Immediate Maintenance Facility, Bremerton, WA. Offers wishing to submit a quote are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ and for frequently monitoring the site for any amendments. The solicitation number for this requirement is SPMYM2-14-Q-0271. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available for download on or around 11 April 2014. The closing date of the solicitation will be on 12 May 2014 at 2:00PM Pacific Local Time, unless a later date is specified in the solicitation. The RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link at https://www.neco.navv.mil and will also be available for download at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. A bidders list will not be maintained by this office, no telephone or fax requests for the RFP package will be accepted. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFP and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render vendor offer non-responsive and result in rejection of the same.
