- The contractor shall furnish all depot level labor, facilities, special tooling, test equipment and materials for maintenance and overhaul of the CONVERTER SIGNAL, DA. Input/Output NSN: 5895-01-236-9808 Input/Output P/Ns: 406-074-020-103 The proposed contractual action will be for a 5 year, firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery Quantity (IDIQ) type contract, with a minimum quantity of 5 each and a maximum quantity of 66 each INCLUDING 11 each for FMS. A Product Verification Audit is required. This item is not considered commercial, therefore FAR Part 12 procedures will not be used. This is not a critical safety item. There is no depot maintenance work requirement available. Due to availability of overhaul data, this item is restricted to the following approved source only: Bell Helicopter (CAGE 97499). The last known overhaul source for the CONVERTER SIGNAL, DA was Bell Helicopter (CAGE 97499) (DAAH23-99-G-0006). The required production schedule to meet current and forecasted requirements is 5 per month. Input will be 30 days after receipt of order (ARO). Output shall be specified in the contract. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations. The source approval process is explained at the following website: Http://amcomdmz.redstone.army.mil/casl_cmo/casldba.casl_cmo_home, select the Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). No telephone requests for solicitation will be accepted. REQUEST FOR SOLICITATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED BY EMAIL at judson.bailey@us.army.mil, FAX at 256-955-9237, OR MAIL. You may mail your request to CCAM-ALM, Attn: Jud Bailey, Contract Specialist, US Army Aviation and Missile Command, BLDG. 5303-2, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5000. This requirement is currently unfunded. Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted depending upon the date of release of the solicitation; however, the solicitation will not be closed prior to the closing date stated above.
