- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to seek market research information on product/services that provide credit ratings information on fixed income assets from the three major credit ratings agencies through an aggregated platform. Please note that this notice is NOT a solicitation and the SEC will NOT accept proposals or offers in response to this RFI. RFI Description: The SEC seeks information on services/products available that provide all credit ratings and credit watch updates from S&P Dow Jones Indices LLC, Moody's Investors Services and Fitch Ratings for the following fixed income asset classes: 1) corporates 2) municipals and 3) asset-backed. All data from the three credit ratings agencies shall be aggregated and delivered through a single platform by electronic file download of flat text files in two deliveries: 1) a single one-time download of 15 years of historical data and 2) monthly updates of credit ratings and credit watch updates. Responding to RFI: All information provided in response to this RFI must be submitted in writing via email to Jeremy Garrett at GarrettJ@sec.gov by no later than 2:00 P.M. Eastern Time on April 22, 2014. You may provide information on your organization's capability to perform the support described above. All proprietary information in your response to this RFI must be clearly marked "Proprietary." This RFI is issued solely for the purpose of market research and does not constitute a solicitation. Responses to the RFI will not be returned. Responses to this notice are not an offer and cannot be accepted by the SEC. Responders are responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI.
