- The Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) in North Chicago, Illinois intends to issue a solicitation for the provision of assorted juices. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The award will be made to the responsible company or individual who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government based on price related factors only. The contract period shall consist of one base year from effective date of award through twelve months from date of award and four 12-month option periods for renewal at the unilateral discretion of the Government. It is estimated the contract will provide 24 cases of juice every other week, not to exceed 27 deliveries per year. NAICS Code 311421 is applicable to this requirement. The Small Business size standard is 500 employees. All responsible small business concerns may submit a quote which will be considered. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation is 100% set-a-side for small business. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. The website for registration is www.sam.gov. The solicitation will be available on or about April 9, 2014.
