- Description: Forest wide Road Reconstruction and Maintenance Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract on the Allegheny National Forest in PA. Work includes road reconditioning, supply and install of aggregate surface course (DSA limestone and PA-2A), supply and install of new culverts (16"-36"), removal of old culverts, supply and install of riprap, and turnout construction and reconstruction. Project Location: Work can be on various roads throughout the Allegheny National Forest in Forest, Warren, Elk, and McKean Counties, PA. Estimated Price Range: This is anticipated to be an IDIQ contract with a minimum guarantee of $25,000 over the life of the contract. Maximum contract amount shall not exceed $1,000,000 over the life of the contract. Contract life will include one base year and two one year option periods. Actual work will be issued on task orders throughout the life of the contract. These task orders will identify the road location and work items and any bonding needs. Contractors shall have the ability to obtain bonding of up to $1,000,000 over the three year life of the contract. The first task order which is expected to be issued in 2014 will include road reconstruction on Forest Road 131 in Forest and Elk Counties, PA. The estimated cost of that task order is between $250,000 and $500,000. Set Aside: This solicitation is set aside for Hubzone small businesses that are certified by the Small Business Administration at the time of offer submission. Contractor must also be actively registered in www.sam.gov. All solicitation materials will be posted to this site on or about April 23, 2014. This includes work specifications, drawings, wage determinations, and all materials necessary to submit an offer.
