- The solicitation is now posted and available to all vendors. Quotes are due April 30, 2014 by 1630 at my office. My office address is: Ochoco National Forest, 3160 NE Third St. Prineville, OR 97754. The Deschutes, Ochoco and Fremont/Winema National Forests anticipate advertising for hazardous fuels reduction and forest restoration services. The award will be for multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA). Work will include, but is not limited to, the following activities: Pre-commercial Thinning - Hand, Handpiling, Grapple Piling, Mastication, Noxious Weed Treatment and Stewardship activities. Stewardship authority allows timber value to be used to offset service costs. The Government anticipates making multiple awards with the expectation of competing future BPA calls amongst the awardees only. BPA calls will be placed for up to 5 years for service work and up to 10 years for Stewardship. Work is estimated to start May 15, 2014.
