- Pre-solicitation modification issued to provide clarifications to original post: PROJECT SCOPE: 1.Will the 7,000 sqft expansion be single story or multiple? Single 2.Is the expansion connected to the suite in Building 100 which will be renovated within the scope of the project, or is it in a separate location? Expansion will be connected 3.With an estimated start date for design being July of this year, how quickly will the project be awarded? Award is anticipated prior to June 30, 2014. 4.Under 2. Project Information, it states that the project will include architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical/HVAC, plumbing, medical gas systems, life safety, interior design and telecommunications design. However, under 3(a) Selection Criteria, it requires resumes for electrical, data communication, mechanical, civil, structural, environmental, interior design, LEED, commissioning, and cost estimating. Will you be looking for a resume specifically for medical gas systems design and life safety as noted in the project information, along with the resumes called for in the selection criteria? Yes SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS: 1.For 4(h) Submittal Requirement, it states that the "firms must show their last 12 months of Medical facility contract awards stated in dollars ¦, provide an itemized summary of awards to include Agency Contract Number/Task Order No. awards shall be shown in an itemized summary including Agency, Contract Number/Task Order No., Project Title, and Award Amount dollars." Does the itemized summary strictly include the 12 months of awards stated in dollars, or is it a separate item requiring further information? The summary should be listed under section H and is not a part of any other section. 2.For 4(e) Submittal Requirements, in Section F, you require a max of 5 projects to be used. Should these projects be within the same timeframe as the itemized summary from 4(h)? Also, are the project example sheets limited to one page each, or do you only require that each project be on its own sheet? There is no timeframe restriction on this requirement. Each project shall be on its own sheet. FORMATTING: 1.Do you require we use the "Word" version of the SF-330 (the format attached to the solicitation), as in the past we have applied for VA projects using the PDF version? The PDF version is more user- and reader-friendly, and should allow for easier reviewing of the SF-330s by your office. PDF version will suffice. See attached. 2.If we can use the PDF version, does the 1-page per resume still apply? Yes. 3.The form attached is not in 11 pt Times New Roman font (nor is the PDF version discussed earlier). Should we convert the entire form to 11 pt Times New Roman, or should only our answers be in the larger font? The font restriction is for section H if your firm needs to attach additional sheets.
