- Description
- The work performed under this contract shall consist of furnishing all labor, tools, parts, materials, facilities and transportation necessary to complete an interior finish renovation and exterior clean up of Winters Manor - a three story dormitory with double occupancy rooms each with their own bathroom. Each floor contains three bays and a common area with a total of 196 rooms. The scope includes repairing and painting walls, new carpet in the offices and dorm rooms, new resilient base, new tile floor and base, new ceiling tiles, toilet accessories, and some molding in both the dorm rooms and common areas. Additionally, some plumbing fixtures, electrical fixtures, the door monitoring system, and a public address system shall be replaced. Exterior work will include washing and repairing brick, repairing EIFS, replacing sealants and joints, some electrical work, replacing screen, and repairing gutters and downspouts. All work shall be done in phases while the facility is occupied. This acquisition will be awarded to a Service-Disable Veteran-Owned (SDVO) Small Business Concern, utilizing Performance Price Trade-off (PPT) Procedures. Interested responsible SDVO sources may submit a proposal. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220. The size standard is $33.5 Million. Magnitude of proposed construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The Solicitation Package, Specifications, and Drawings (if applicable), will tentatively be posted on the FedBizOpps Website: http://www.fbo.gov on/or around 22 April 14 with a tentative closing date of 22 May 14. The contract performance period will be 365 days from the Notice to Proceed. All Contractors wishing to do business with the Government are required to register in the System for Award Management (SAM) DOD Central Contractor Registry (CCR) Database prior to any subsequent award. SAM Registration may be accomplished online at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Contractors are further advised that failure to register in SAM/CCR Database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number. Recommend registering immediately in SAM in order to be eligible for timely award. The single source of entry for all documentation pertaining to this acquisition will be http://www.fbo.gov. All interested parties are responsible for checking this website to ensure they have the most current information (i.e., issued Amendments, Changes to the Statement of Work, etc).
