All bid submissions shall be received via US mail delivery or hand delivered to 45 West Street, Fort Drum, NY 13602 no later than 1400 08 May 2014. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Drum, NY anticipates issuing an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for a Fixed Price Laundry Service located at Fort Drum, NY. The Government intends to award a single contract for Laundry Services located at Fort Drum, NY. The contract type will be a Requirements Contract with Firm Fixed Unit Prices (IAW FAR 16.503 Requirements Contracts). This requirement is set aside for small businesses. The successful Contractor shall provide all plant, equipment, materials, supplies, transportation, resources, and management necessary to provide laundry services for the Logistics Readiness Center (LRC) at Fort Drum, New York. The major functional areas included in the work to be performed are operation of the central pick-up and distribution point (including direct exchange operations), pick-up and delivery of laundry, laundry service, and contingency linen operations. Work shall be performed in strict accordance with the Performance Work Statement (to be provided with the solicitation), and subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. The anticipated ordering period is 01 July 2014 through 30 June 2015, with four one-year option periods. Any correspondence concerning this acquisition shall reference IFB number W911S2-14-B-3000 in the subject line. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 812320, Dry Cleaning and Laundry Services, size standard $5.0 Million. This procurement is set aside for small businesses. As prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004, interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) under the NAICS 812320, representations and certifications must also be on record. Both of these registrations can be done through the System for Award Management (SAM) for free at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. SAM must be completed at the time of bid. The anticipated posting date of the IFB is no sooner than 15 days after the publication of this notice. Upon release to the public, the IFB as well as the amendments will be available at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/solicitaiton.
