- Synopsis: The Department of the Interior, National Park Service (NPS) intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) P14PS00162 to obtain Elevator Maintenance, Inspection and Repair Services at Valley Forge National Historical Park, King of Prussia, PA by means of a combination Firm Fixed Price/Indefinite Quantity Delivery Contract. The work includes providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, transportation and supervision for inspection, maintenance and repairs to the elevator located at the Visitor center at Valley Forge National Historical Park, King of Prussia, PA. The Visitor Center is located in Montgomery County in Pennsylvania. The Firm Fixed Price portion of the contract includes inspection services, maintenance and service calls. The contract will also include an Indefinite Quantity Portion for repairs to the systems. Work under the Indefinite Quantity will be ordered via written Task Orders by the Contracting Officer. The intended contract will consist of a base year period and 4 option years. This project is being solicited as 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The solicitation including all bid documents will be posted to the websites, http://www.fedbizopps.gov and https://www.fedconnect.net/FedConnect on or about 21 April 2014. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed or issued. To receive the solicitation package you must download it from one of the above sites. It is therefore the contractor's responsibility to check the internet site daily for any posted changes to the solicitation. Contractors must be registered in the SAM-System for Award Management (Formally Central Contractor Registration) in order to receive contract awards. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Repair and Maintenance, the Size Standard is 7 million dollars. This requirement is subject to the Service Contract Act. There will be a site visit, and perspective proposers are encouraged to visit the site to satisfy themselves as to conditions and equipment before providing a quote.
