Description

517th SMXS/MXDEB Air Combat Maneuvering Instrumentation (ACMI) Engineering Group is tasked with acquiring 40 each ICADS software licenses developed by CUBIC Defense Applications for Air Combat Command (ACC) at Langley AFB, VA. Then, distributing these licenses to training ranges throughout the Air Force, as directed by ACC. Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source Procurement in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Government intends to issue a sole source contract to the contractor (Cubic Defense) will provide (40) ICADS Licenses, contracting by Negotiation. The solicitation will posted at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ under solicitation number FA8224-14-R-0121 on or around April 24th, 2014. This requirement is considered sole source due to the availability of the software data. The NAICS code for this requirement is 541511 (Computer Systems Design Services) with a small business size standard of $25.5 million. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals and all other interested contractors shall submit a capabilities document which states their abilities on fulfilling this requirement.
