Description

The Philadelphia VA Medical Center is seeking an experienced contractor to construct additional floors (4.5 Floors) to the existing parking structure. The work includes all disciplines of construction including Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Protections, an Alarm, Electrical, ETC. The NAICS code (NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRY CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM) for this project is 238190. The contractor shall perform the work in accordance with the specifications and drawings that will be provided in the solicitation when posted. This procurement will be issued for Full and Open Competition with NO SET-ASIDE. The magnitude of this procurement is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. This will be a Competitive Invitation for Bid (IFB). The project is to be completed 450 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. The acquisition is subject to local prevailing wage rates (Davis-Bacon Act). Set-Aside Information: This solicitation is to be issued as Full and Open Competition with NO SET-ASIDE. The NAICS code for this project is 238190. Bidders must ensure registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) is not expired and are correct, current and valid. A Site Visit will be held approximately two weeks after issuance of the solicitation. The exact date/time/location of the Site Visit will be specified in the solicitation. The solicitation documents will be posted at the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fbo.gov) on or about April 28, 2014.
