- The Air Force Research Laboratory Munitions Directorate (AFRL/RW), High Velocity Penetrating Weapon Flagship Capability Concept (HVPW FCC) Integrated Product Team (IPT) will host a follow-up Technical Interchange Meeting (TIM) with Industry on 18-19 November 2014. This event will provide a forum by which the HVPW IPT can communicate technologies of interest for potential transition and improve communication and collaboration by sharing specific information and technologies developed over the last 2 years. The focus of this TIM will be to share information with industry on progress made in AFRL's HVPW FCC within the following areas: ordnance, guidance, navigation and control, propulsion, and system integration. During the event, AFRL will present a complete overview of HVPW FCC goals and objectives, show technical data packages, identify the specifics of research areas of interest, and discuss final results. This is a technical interchange with subject matter experts. Attendees will be able to ask questions about the material presented and the content therein. Attendees are encouraged to schedule follow up meetings with AFRL at future dates. A secret clearance or higher is required for attendance. Because this will be held at the classified level, foreign participation is NOT authorized. Event Attendance and Sidebar Meetings: Requests to attend this meeting should be provided via email to afrl.rw.HDBTTIM@us.af.mil. Due to space constraints, companies are limited to four representatives per company and will be accepted on a first come, first served basis up to the room capacity, after which a wait list will be established. Please note that attendance information will NOT be available to the public. The Government will send a confirmation email to each company to confirm attendance. Companies are encouraged to schedule sidebar meetings or follow up phone conversations with HVPW FCC IPT and subject matter experts. Those interested in scheduling a meeting or phone conversation must send a request to afrl.rw.HDBTTIM@us.af.mil after 1 December 2014. These meetings will be attended only by the industry and government staff, so proprietary and classified information may be discussed. Requests for follow up meetings before 1 December 2014 will not be considered. Meeting Access and Clearances: Security clearances must be sent via JPAS. Please insert "HVPW TIM with Industry" as the name of the event. AFRL's JPAS SMO code is AFRL-RW. Attendees will be contacted with detailed information on base and meeting access. Please allow 2 weeks to process security paperwork for meeting and base access. Logistics: The meeting will take place at the Eglin Conference Center on November 18-19, 2014.. Note: This notice is being issued for planning and information purposes only. It does not constitute a solicitation, nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for any effort expended in responding to the notice, or participation in the event (to include attendee travel costs), nor will the Government accept proposals as a result of this notice. Meals will not be provided at this event.
