- MARKET RESEARCH FOR EDWO, HUBZone, SDVO FIRMS DUE BY 4:00 PM ON April 17, 2014 This will be a design/build project for replacing the Failing Trane 80 Ton Reciprocating chiller with a new 100 Ton magnetic bearing chiller to ensure efficient plant operations through the full range of operating conditions at the facility and to remove the leaking R-22 unit from service. Address the lingering pump configuration challenges that are a result of the current chiller plant configuration to support the new chiller configuration and operations and ensure that the plant is fully controlled by the Building Automated Control System. The work will be performed at the Norris Cotton Federal Building, in Manchester NH. Interested firms should provide sufficient information to allow informed evaluation and decision to ascertain if there is enough competition to solicit this requirement as an SDVO, EDWO, or HUBZone Small Business Set-aside. The estimated cost range is between $250,000 and $500,000. The NAICS code for this service is 238220. The Small Business Size standard is $14 MILLION. Please respond to the following questions by 4:00PM on April 17, 2014. Failure to answer any of these questions may result in your firm not being considered as part of this market research. (1) Examples of design/build projects worked within the last five years of similar size, scope, complexity and duration as the work indicated. State whether your firm worked as a prime or subcontractor, contract value, brief description of how the referenced contract relates to the work described, and provide an agency or owner point of contact. (2) Company profile, to include number of employees, annual receipts, office location(s), and DUNS number. (3) Evidence to establish your company's standing as a SDVOSB, HUBZone, EDWOSB or 8(a) small business concern, under applicable NAICS. (4) A positive statement of your intention to submit a proposal for this requirement if set-aside for your socio-economic group. AGAIN, THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS.
