HARRY L. MARTIN (USNS MARTIN), USNS LCPL ROY M. WHEAT (USNS WHEAT), and three KOCAK class ships: (USNS KOCAK, USNS OBREGON, and USNS PLESS). The resulting contract will be a Fixed-Price type with reimbursable elements. The anticipated performance start date is approximately 01 October 2015. The contract will include a base performance period of one year and four one-year options. Delivery of each ROCON is anticipated as provided for below: Vessel Delivery USNS WHEAT 01 October 2015 USNS MARTIN 01 October 2015 USNS KOCAK 01 October 2016 USNS OBREGON 01 October 2016 USNS PLESS 01 October 2016 This solicitation is not classified; however, the resulting contract will contain mandatory security clearance requirements. In addition, prior to assignment to each vessel, each Master/Officer in Charge (OIC), Chief Mate and Chief Engineer shall possess and maintain a SECRET clearance. Shoreside personnel assigned to the contract that handle classified information must also possess and maintain a SECRET clearance. Also, the contractor will be required to possess a SECRET facilities clearance. The contractor will provide the information for all crewmembers and others requiring unescorted access to the vessel to be checked against the El Paso Intelligence Center (EPIC) database. All other personnel who handle classified material (either onboard or ashore) assigned to the contract are also required to possess and maintain a SECRET clearance.
