- RFID Lock Solicitation The Air Force is soliciting for proposals from qualified vendors for a firm-fixed price (FFP) contract Dry cleaning press pads, located at Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan. This requirement is a commercial acquisition using Commercial Acquisition procedures (Reference FAR Part 12). The proposed contract will be awarded using full and open competition with a delivery date of 60 Days, to UNIT 5132 718 CES/CEHU BUILDING 758 KADENA AB OKINAWA JAPAN. The government intends to make a FFP, Single award to the offeror that represents the best overall value, only considering price. Solicitation No. FA5270-14-Q-A021 is being issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ) advertised with a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 334419. Quotes will be accepted when submitted via e-mail to kile.mctague@us.af.mil or when hand carried, quotes must be deposited in the bid depository located at 18 CONS/LGCA, Bldg. 99, Kadena AB, Okinawa. The closing date for receipt of offers will be 10 May 2014 10:00 AM Japanese Standard Time (JST). Anticipated award date will be on or around 24 May2014. Facsimile, telephone or written request for the solicitation package will not be honored. HARD COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED FOR ANY REASON. All prospective offerors interested in submitting proposals must have a Commercial and Governments Entity (CAGE) code, and must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/) in order to be eligible for receipt of contract award. Any questions you may have regarding this acquisition should be submitted to the Point of Contact (POC) after the solicitation is posted.
