Description

The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting offers under Solicitation No. VA786-14-R-0162 at Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, OK. The intent of an awarded contract shall be for a Contractor to perform repairs to the committal shelter walkway. A.The Contractor: Shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, materials, and equipment necessary to repair the concrete walkway at the committal shelter at Fort Scott National Cemetery in accordance with the drawings, specifications, and per applicable standards and requirements. B.The Work: The Work shall include, but shall not be limited to the following (not necessarily in the order indicated): 1.Contractor shall demolish and remove the portion of the existing concrete walkway at the committal shelter as indicated on the contract drawings. 2.Excavate to achieve correct grades, compact the subgrade, backfill with new aggregate base material, and compact the aggregate base material in preparation for the placement of new concrete in accordance with the contract documents. 3.Place 4000 psi concrete (5" minimum thickness) with 6"x6"/W2.9 x W2.9 welded wire fabric (WWF) reinforcement. Install expansion joints, control joints, and provide a broom finish surface on new concrete surfaces per the contract specifications. 4.Haul away & dump debris and waste to an approved disposal site. C.Time of Completion: The project shall be completed within 30 calendar days after contract award. D.Code Compliance: All work shall be performed in accordance with National, State, and Local Codes including the International Building Code (IBC), the International Mechanical Code (IMC), the International Plumbing Code (IPC), and the National Electrical Code (NEC). This acquisition is 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The NAICS Code is 237310. Size standard is $33.5 Million. Electronic solicitations will be available for download from http://www.fbo.gov on or about April 11, 2014. Responses to the solicitation are due electronically by 2PM EST on Tuesday April 29, 2014. Any amendments to the solicitation will also be available at www.fbo.gov. Offerors are advised they are responsible for obtaining any amendments. Information shall be submitted in the manner requested in Section E especially in FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS. Failure to submit all documentation required as required so may result in your submission being determined non-responsive and removed from further consideration.
