- Drawings, pump equipment THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE REPRESENTING A MARKET SURVEY AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, PROPOSAL ABSTRACTS, QUOTATIONS, OR INVITATION FOR BIDS. NO AWARD WILL RESULT FROM THIS NOTICE. The United States Air Force (USAF) is conducting a MARKET SURVEY for Total Small Business Set Aside to determine the availability and capability of small businesses capable of making diagnosis and repairs of industrial pumping equipment at Kirtland Air Force Base (KAFB), New Mexico. Pump Information The existing pump is manufactured by National Pump Company (SN: 120750) and is a vertical turbine line shaft pump with 12 stages. The pump rating is 1,400 gallons per minute at a total design head of 736 feet of water column. The pump assembly is approximately 50,000 pounds (lbs) (46,327 lbs) which includes the motor. The pump has centering spiders approximately every 40 feet. There are approximately 134 tube bearings. (Drawing attached to this sources sought) The North American industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811310 and the business size standard is $7.0 million dollars. It is the intent of the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center to identify small businesses that can provide diagnosis and repair services to the 377th Civil Engineering Division MSG/CE. However, this Sources Sought is a MARKET SURVEY for Small Business set aside to determine the availability and capability of small businesses capable of diagnosing and repair of industrial pumping equipment at Kirtland Air Force Base (KAFB), New Mexico. The contractor shall troubleshoot/diagnose, repair well, reinstall removed equipment, adjust/set well pump and motor, test, disinfect and monitor Well #20(building 20437). The contractor shall provide all services required to repair Well #20 equipment. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to affect the repair. POTENTIAL SOURCES SHALL PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IN THEIR RESPONSE: The contractor must include the following in their Capability Statement: 1. Company name, address, phone number, e-mail address 2. NAICS Code and certification of business size 3. Duns and Bradstreet Number (DUNS) 4. Staff expertise, including their availability, experience, and formal and other training 5. Current in-house capability and capacity to perform the work 6. Provide at least three, but not more than five prior completed projects of similar nature, references, and other related information, within the past three years. 7. Corporate experience and management capability The Capability Statement is limited to 10 pages in size and must reference Sources Sought Number F2K2AC4066A003SS. All responsible sources may submit a Capability Statement, which if timely received shall be considered by the agency. All Capability Statements are due no later than 1:00 PM MDT (Mountain Daylight Time), 18 April 2014 Capability Statements may be emailed to SSgt Jarrett J. Sainz, jarrett.sainz@us.af.mil.
