Description

Special Notice: The Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory's (AOML) Physical Oceanography Division (PHOD) Global Drifter Program (GDP) http://www.aoml.noaa.gov/phod/index.php located in Miami, FL will be awarding a purchase order to CLS America Inc. for monthly raw Argos drifter data CD's. CLS America Inc. is the only known North American source that can provide the monthly raw data drifter CD's that are required in order for AOML to successfully complete their research and pursue their mission. The Government is not aware of any other vendor that can provide these specialized supplies that also meet the Government's intended use. To the best of the Government's knowledge there are no other vendors available who can meet the requirements needed in order to compete for this project. A sources sought notice was posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website https://www.fbo.gov/ on 03/24/2014 under Solicitation # NRMAD000-14-00619. The posting closed at 5:00 PM ET on 04/04/2014 with no responses. It is the Government's intent to award a purchase order to CLS America Inc. upon the closing of this notice.
