- Austal Visit Request Form JHSV Ship Check Notice IMPORTANT: A Department of Labor Wage Determination for Masters and Mates occupations is currently being developed. It will be added to this solicitation by a future amendment. This requirement was previously synopsized by presolicitation notice N00033-13-R-5300. The Military Sealift Command (MSC) Sealift Program Office (PM5) hereby requests proposals for the operation and maintenance of up to five U.S. flagged, self-sustaining Joint High Speed Vessels (JHSV). Relevant dates are provided below; all are subject to change: Proposals Due: 28 April 2014, 10:00 AM Washington, DC time. Contract Performance Start Date: 17 April 2015 To assist MSC in responding to inquiries, prospective offerors are asked to send questions/comments regarding this solicitation to the designated points of contact via email only. ***SPECIAL UPDATE - 11 April 2014*** USNS MILLINOCKET (JHSV-3) will be available for ship check by prospective offerors at Austal USA's facilities in Mobile AL during 16-17 April 2014. At this time, MSC does not anticipate another opportunity for a ship check by offerors in connection with this solicitation.
