- Estimated issue date April 28, 2014 and estimated closing/response date May 29, 2014 Purchase Request#: FD2030-14-01032 RFP#: SPRTA1-14-R-0244 Nomenclature/Noun : Radar Modulators for the MPN-14K Airport Surveillance Radar Unit, NSN 5840-01-296-9812IM and Part Number 230008-1. AMC: 3D History: No prior procurement history. L/I 0001 - The maximum quantity is 14. Mandatory Language: Note: Item Description: Length 38.5000 inches, Height 23.0000 inches, Width 26.0000 inches, Weight 650.0000 (LB). Item Function: Develops and transmits high power Radio Frequency (RF) radiated pulse for Air Traffic Control Radar Surveillance. Material: Metal Chassis with electronic components. Currently Sora Power Inc. (Cage 13058) is the only known source that can satisfy the Government requirements. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firms(s) listed: Sora Power Inc. (Cage 13058). Drawing 230135 resistor assembly, tail biter, 230121-1 magnetron current sensing board parts list, W160040 indicator plate are not available. The rights to use the data needed to purchase this part from additional sources are not owned by the Government and cannot be purchased, developed, or otherwise obtained. Surplus is not being considered. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program Director or Contracting Officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government Personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposal or in the source selection process.
