- Synopsis: Please note that this is NOT a request for quotes or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21 is conducting a market survey for qualified vendor firms capable of completing ground ambulance services for the VA Central California Health Care System (VACCHCS), travel to and from the VA Fresno, CA Medical Center. Travel will include ALS, BLS, or CCT services for one-way and/or roundtrip transportation to or from the VA Fresno Medical Center to a hospital or medical facility within the State of California. The VA Fresno Medical Center estimates 450 trips per year. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 621910, size standard $19 million. Responses to this notice must be submitting in writing (email or fax) and must be received not later than May 2, 2014 at 10:00 AM, HST. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses to this notice should include company/individual name, a service capability statement (must be able to comply with the Fresno County Ambulance Ordinance and Resolutions and all applicable Federal, State, and County laws, rules, and regulations), examples of similar facilities which you have provided services, DUNS number, address, point of contact. Service-Disabled Veteran Owned or Veteran Owned Small Business must be CERTIFIED in VetBiz (see internet site: http://vip.vetbiz.gov). Contractor must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) (see internet site: http://www.sam.gov). A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced on Federal Business opportunities website http://www.fbo.gov at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement.
