Sources Sought for HSCG84-14-Q-BB7065 - Boom Truck The United States Coast Guard is seeking contractors interested in submitting proposals for the purchase of one boom truck and training to be delivered to the US Coast Guard Air Station Borniquen, Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. This is a sources sought survey announcement targeting companies that can provide all the necessary supplies materials, delivery, freight charges, Start-up, and Load Test for one boom truck. Contractor shall also be required to provide training for four (4) persons on operation and maintenance of the vehicle described below. Note: Vehicle must be delivered at U. S. Coast Guard Air Station Borinquen, Aguadilla, P.R. Boom Truck - Specifications (as minimum requirement): a) New Commercial Chassis - 2015 International 4300 M7 or like b) Bed/Bumper options - 18' Steel Bed With Grip Deck Coating, Standard ICC Rear Bumper With Steps and Grab Handles c) Lifting options - Elliott Hi Reach G85R or like, having an 85' working height. Including base assembly supporting rear mounted rotating turret, hydraulically powered continuous rotation mechanism, oil reservoir mounted to truck frame, oil, and manual hydraulic controls mounted to turret. Electronic proportional three stick remote controls on platform. Base mounted "MH" type hydraulically powered, individually controlled rear main outriggers and "A" secondary outriggers behind cab. High strength steel four section hydraulically telescoping boom with one double acting 7" lift cylinder plus one 2 1/2" piggyback and one 3" extension cylinder. Two exposed cable carriers to boom tip. Hydraulically self-leveling and rotating 40" x 60" EZR work platform with remote leveling from platform. Power take-off and pump drive, pressure gauge, pump and holding valves on all cylinders. Remote start/ shutdown at upper and lower controls, 12-volt emergency pump with switch at upper and lower controls, PTO hour meter, backup alarm, fire extinguisher, and two body harnesses and lanyards. Safety triangle kit. Installed on chassis, tested and ready to operate. Unit certified to ANSI A92.2 for Vehicle-Mounted Elevating and Rotating Aerial Devices Platform capacity 500 lbs. d) Platform accessories - 110 Volt Line to Platform e) PTO options - Hot Shift PTO For Automatic Transmission f) Additional options - Steel Cable Carrier Covers, Cab Guard From Back of Cab to Front Bumper g) Welders, Generators & Air Compressors - Miller Bobcat 22 5NT Gasoline Engine 225 Amp Welder / Generator Bolted to Bed With Remote Start / Kill Switch in Platform, Remote Start / Kill Switch in Platform for Customer Installed Welder/Generator, Welder Leads to Platform - (2) 1 Gauge Cables, Oxy / Acetylene Hoses to Platform or like h) Maximum Platform Height - 80' ground to platform floor i) Working Range - 85' max height and 61' max side reach j) Work Platform - 30" x 54" EZR end-hung work platform with 40" high rails k) Lifting capacity - 5900 lbs / 2676 kg l) Boom extension - two opposing "piggyback" extension cylinders and one overslung cylinder extend the boom sections WARRANTIES: All warranties and/or guarantees, either implied or expressed shall be endorsed to the Government. A lifetime structural warranty is required for the Subframe, Turrets, and Structural Components. A 24 month warranty is required for the remaining Vehicle parts and Engine.. The applicable North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 333924, Industrial Truck, Tractor, Trailer and Stacker machinery Manufacturing. The Small Business size standard is 750 employees. Note: A set-aside determination has not yet been made. The business size shall include any applicable preference program (i.e. 8a, HUBZone, Disadvantaged, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, small business). Interested parties should provide proof of their capabilities by providing manufacturer's descriptive literature of catalog products, equipment drawings, diagrams, performance characteristic curves and catalog cuts as applicable and called for each material used for this requirement.
