- C130 MAINTENANCE HANGER/FUEL CELL, CORROSION CONTROL FACILITY, B25/80 SOURCES SOUGHT. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this project including interested Small Business sources. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested parties should respond. 120 Airlift Wing, Air National Guard Base, Montana may issue a solicitation and award of a contract to construct C130 MAINTENANCE HANGAR/FUEL CELL, CORROSION CONTROL FACILITY, B25/80, subject to availability of funds. The magnitude of this project is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. All interested concerns will provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intention to submit a proposal as a prime contractor no later than 30 April 2014. This notification, which shall not exceed five typewritten pages, must include a (1) positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor, and (2) a completed and signed Source Sought Information Request Form (see Additional Documentation) and (3) A listing of projects completed during the past three years, both for government and private industry. The type of project, dollar value, Contract number, location, and Point of Contact are to be included. Indicate if you were prime or subcontractor, and if subcontractor, provide the name and point of contact for the prime contractor. (4) A brief outline of resources, subcontractors, and key personnel that would be used to accomplish the contract. In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted. Information shall be provided via email to: 120aw.bco@ang.af.mil. Include the following in the subject line- Sources Sought W9124V-14-R-9999. No facsimile responses will be honored. The 120 AW; Montana Air National Guard intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to award a single firm fixed-price contract for the construction of C130 MAINTENANCE HANGAR/FUEL CELL, CORROSION CONTROL FACILITY, B25/80. The project is location at the Montana Air National Guard Base, Great Falls Montana. The proposed scope of construction includes remodel of approximately 44,200 SF and an addition of approximately 8,000 SF to the existing Maintenance Hangar (Bldg 25) which consists of aircraft general purpose shops, non-destructive inspection shop, Jet Engine Inspection, Maintenance shop and administrative space. Work includes, but is not limited to, architectural, carpentry, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, structural, fire protection, communication and site trades as applicable. The new construction of approximately 33,700 SF for the Fuel Cell/Corrosion Control Facility (B80) includes, but is not limited to, architectural, carpentry, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, structural, fire protection, communication and site trades as applicable. Project must attain LEED Silver rating. Construction/contract completion time is 730 days after the notice to proceed. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 236220. Please be advised that the Sources Sought W9124V-14-R-9999 procurement instrument identification (PII) number will not be utilized after this announcement is closed and is being utilized for informational purposes only. The pre-solicitation/solicitation notices will be issued using a different PII number that is not known at this time. FedBizOpps is a web-based dissemination tool designed to safeguard acquisition-related information for all Federal agencies. Interested bidders/offerors must register with FedBizOpps before accessing the system. FedBizOpps registration requires the following information: 1) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Marketing Partner Identification Number (MPIN), 2) DUNS Number and CAGE Code, 3) Telephone Number, 4) Email address.
