Description

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Integrated Network Service (VISN 17), VA Medical Center, San Antonio, TX is seeking market data for qualified firms capable of providing and erecting (to include site preparation) a 7,857 square foot Pre-Engineering/Pre-Fabricated Radiation Oncology Clinic that is highly specialized requiring shielding and special considerations for power, heat and cooling of a Linear Accelerator (LINAC). Facility shall also include adequate clinical space with three examination rooms, dosimetry and physics space as well as space for a dedicated CT simulator. Firms will be required to provide a total complete permanent clinic. Attached is VA's draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). Applicable NAICS code are 238990 (All Other Specialty Trade Contractors), size standard $14M. This RFI is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered an Invitation for Bids, Request for Quotations, or a Request for Proposal. Additionally, there is no obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services described in this RFI. Your response to this RFI will be treated as information for the Government to consider. You will not be entitled to payment for direct or indirect costs that you incur in responding to this RFI. This request does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract. No funds have been authorized, appropriated, or received for this effort. The information provided may be used by the VA in developing its acquisition strategy. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary, restricted, or competition sensitive information contained in their response.
